They’ll either kill them, force them onto reservations or kick them off the island.

And, since Trump is involved, the promised $10k might never get paid.

Yeah. As an Aussie, I can’t tell you how awesome free/cheap healthcare is

Don’t forget Trump also wanted to get rid of generic medicine here in Australia, so it was also cost cheap medicine too

How about giving that to everybody who voted against you, for having to put up with four more years of your shit?

Will that even be enough in Greenland, unless you live around Nuuk?

This makes a good point - a country like Greenland without strong government and a strong security net would simply become uninhabitable for normal people.

But then all of the people in Greenland won’t work! Remember when the United States gave us all in the midst of the COVID pandemic and none of us returned to our jobs and now all live on yachts? This would be even worse!

Just FYI, loose and lose have different meanings. Kinda like desert and dessert.

Yes it was a typo. Sometimes when im tired in the morning or night my spelling gets funky. I have spelt english words in hungarian and hungarian words on english before, i think its because im bilingual.

It seems as though they can’t understand why anyone wouldn’t want to be American, which is kinda nutty.

Yeah, you’d have to pay me a lot more to even consider it, $10000 seems laughably low.

Yeah. Someone else suggested it might cover your first ambulance ride. I’m thinking maybe your first year health insurance?

Edit - it was just a wild guess, but here’s a badly formatted table copied from an article in Forbes:

Age of member Average monthly costs

        • Age 21 $445
        • Age 27 $467
        • Age 30 $505
        • Age 40 $569
        • Age 50 $795
        • Age 60 $1,208

So, for my age, my guess was almost exactly right!

It’s 65774 DKK. With 40k/mo salary average in Denmark (so like 25 after taxes),this is a few months worth of money. Ok, maybe salaries are lower because whole Greenland is in the middle of nowhere, but it’s also not some war-torn African country - people don’t live on five bucks a month

Ok, maybe salaries are lower because whole Greenland is in the middle of nowhere, […]

Having visited Iceland, the cost of living is higher on islands with limited agriculture and high cost of imports.
