TIL in 2019, the Netherlands became the first country to completely ban the Hells Angels biker gang. In July of 2022, the Supreme Court Of The Netherlands reaffirmed this ban and made it permanent.

      Would the gangs of criminals be so brazen that they’d break the law and be in a gang?

      But in seriousness I know that legislation can make gang life difficult. E.g. the Yakuza is pretty much dead now after they changed a bunch of laws in Japan.

        Yeah, if they’re engaged in criminal activity I don’t see the reason to ban them specifically, they should just prosecute them
