I just want to be a hot elvish archer lady is that too much to ask, life? IS IT?!
i believe in you
it’s okay sister. We all have from time to time that wish. You are already hot because you are you.
You’re too sweet ʘ‿ʘ
You can probably do it if you try hard enough!
I, too, would like to love 800 years in a utopia before dying gorgeous.
DnD characters don’t have to get drug tested for work
Lucky bastards
imagine if the Adventurers Guild did drug testing
"Do I have to explain, one more Gods-damned time, I CAN’T HEAL WITHOUT MY WEED! IT IS PART OF MY RELIGION!
I’m getting Dankroth on the stone right now. This is DISCRIMINATION!"
I can imagine it.
I can already hear the compelling argument why their chaotic good cleric should be able to use ‘purify water’ on their own piss to pass the test.
Honestly, I would probably just allow it, but force the party to make a bunch of stealth tests to not get caught passing their pee samples to the cleric.
My alchemist would ace that drug test, he’s been studying
DND characters are given drugs for work. Potions are just homebrew drugs.
New D&D players: “I wish I was a badass like my character.”
Intermediates: “Haha my bard disguised as a fighter just fell down a mineshaft what an ignominous end. Hey DM, for my next character, are you cool with lawful-good-aligned clerics of chaotic neutral deities? God I do not envy my characters but they are so fucking funny.”
Veterans: “My character is just me except fantasy.”
Sounds like someone isn’t role-playing hard enough.
I’d love to have horns and a tail, and an otherworldly devilish charisma. Not sure about the racism I’d end up on the receiving end of though
I just want to fireball people who piss me off.
If Baldur’s Gate 3 is any indication, you will be endlessly profiled, imprisoned, and rejected.
But also hot ¯_(ツ)_/¯
You dropped this: \
Edit, FYI, the reason it’s missing is because the text interpreter treats it as an escape for the underscore. You have to escape the backslash too, so you need to type 3 of them, like this:
¯\\\_(ツ)_/¯
don’t give your characters a tragic backstory. give them a tragic **front**story
Tragic backstories are sad things that happened before the player took over.
Tragic frontstories are awful things that happened because the player took over.
Wife and I were just talking about thr rise of D&D and the isekai genre in media and how overly popular both are right now. Like, seriously anywhere is better than planet earth right now.
This movie should have been named A Divorce Story, and then promptly dumped into the ocean. What the fuck was the point of the thing? It’s just a two hour long exposé into misery.
What the fuck was the point of this thing?
It’s just a two hour long exposé into misery.
I mean, yeah.
