Game didnt even make it 5 years into the 10 year plan before they dropped it. And people still believe this was ONLY the fault of management?
I hate to be that guy, but this is not only a failure of management. With as many failures as 343 have had in a row, and with their current upcoming projected failure (for Halo Fans, I am sure the current slop-devouring consumers that overwhelm forum boards with toxic positivity and defending big businesses will sadly make Halo Campaign Evolved a financial success), the problem cannot solely be management. The rot runs deeper than that.
I mean, you literally have a guy working on a military shooter that says he hates guns. Like, its fine if you don’t like guns, maybe don’t work on a video game franchise that has a primary focus on guns?? Where was he planning on working next, a Smith & Wesson factory? Go work at Turn10 on Forza or something. Maybe you will like it and make something actually good.
