“Legitimate/illegitimate”:

In Poland, no matter who i vote for and no matter who win, policies remains always the same.

Americans don’t understand that votes should be counted by humans, with witnesses and unlimited recounts.
Instead they trust in tech they don’t understand, cannot double check, run by people they often oppose, They do not comprehend the concepts of exit polls or other checks.
And it’s not new, but baked into the fabric of the culture. Before computers there was mass cheating, tolerated, going back into the 18th century.
That last bit just simply isn’t true. Voter fraud is near non-existent in the United States. Using a tool (computers) to do a job easier and better (counting votes) is not a bad thing; it’s actually a good thing. Why are you demonizing something that you have no indication is a bad thing? There is also still lots of documentation around voting in the states even though we use the scary computers and don’t live in the stone age in that singular aspect.
This can be a complex topic: if what you mean by voter fraud is individuals miscasting votes, then yes. That is rare.
But if you are talking about admins or owners of computer systems adding enough votes themselves, then there is evidence that happens and no evidence to refute it. This is because exit polls and statistics hint this is happening. But the systems are closed source so there is no way to disprove the hints.
Finally, there are dozens of voting systems. What is true for some is not valid for others .
There is a simply staggering amount of information to cover. But in no way can anyone apply blanket statements or one size fit all explanations
We now think the same about our elections.
The empire always comes home to conquer eventually.
usually the difference between a legitimate democratic system and a illegitimate one is skin color
Cuba lets people vote on laws directly, not just people.
Meanwhile the US has a long and proud history of hosting a referendum, having an overwhelming majority agree with it, only for it to be blocked by the “elected” representatives. Florida high speed rail comes to mind.
