I use them in dreams all the time and they offer me no relief. Then I wake up and go to the “real” one… That’s right. I know what’s up, machine elves.
Me too. I’ll look all over for a bathroom (in my dreams) and they’re all either unusably filthy or just don’t work.
I have that too, except not in my dreams, but in literally all public spaces

I have the same phenomenon, and sometimes really weird intrusions, like - a few days ago I had a dream of working in an office building, and out of nowhere during work, there would be a drawer just filled with piss to pee into for the employees - but of course it never works.
Just last night I had the pissdrawer dream. I was at a friend’s house for a small, smart-casual suburban yuppie housewarming. Didn’t know where the toilet was, immediately tried pissing in the sideboard drawer in front of everyone. Because thats how that worked. Got kicked out of the party quite quick but was pretty annoyed because everyone just uses the drawer sometimes right? Its no big deal.
I had no idea this was one of those dream events that others share. I hardly ever remember my dreams, but I remember those because even in the dream it feels weird to be doing it.
Or the lid is nailed shut.
That sounds even more frustrating.
I just have an infinite pee stream but for some reason never recognize that it’s a dream. I just get angry that I’m peeing so much
Evsn when I’ve recognized dreams for what they are, it hasn’t given me much power over them. Just helped me face fears.
When I was a kid, the only time I’ve wet the bed was because of dreams where I’m in a urinal or a toilet.
Kinda requires you knowing you’re in a dream.
If anything at all even looks remotely suspicious, pinch your nose so you can’t breathe through it. If you can still breathe through it youre dreaming baby, and thats real air passing through your real nose you can feel back in reality!
The trick is to get into the habit of doing it for anything. Strange car you’ve never seen before? Pinch. You’ve been gaming for 3 hours when it felt like 15 minutes? Pinch. You see the same girl 3 times in one day? Thats a pinching.
Sleep apnea would like to say hi. Now you can’t breath in dreams either.
Yup. Had this dream about two months ago while in Vegas with a buddy for a concert, cept it was a urinal, and I was awoken to trying to piss in the corner of the hotel room.
Same thing applies if you have some… erotically pleasing experience. But in that case - just go for it, consequences are always worth it.

Often dream about hunting for a toilet… then I wake and need to go straight to the loo.

I very often have some convoluted dream, where I end up taking a piss, except it just doesn’t stop, then after a while I wake up having to pee really badly

Also sometimes in the dream I pee in a weird place. Like, someone tells me where the bathroom is and it’s just some room without toilets or anything so I just pee in the corner of that room.
When I was a kid I did the opposite. I would be using the bathroom in real life and would fear that it’s a dream/hallucination and I’m actually pissing in the classroom.
