Bugs frustrate me more because I can often guess at why they are happening and how to fix them but can’t just apply the fix myself.

That’s like a big portion of bugs lmao, lots of bugs exist because the spaghettification of the code makes it too costly to fix. Do you really think devs don’t know why the bugs are there? They usually can’t be fixed because there is no time or no willingness from management or the root cause is so deeply rooted it requires a shit ton of work to be able to fix it at all.

You will notice the change in air quality when the number of asthmatics and people with other respiratory issues suddenly dramatically drops

For me, doing the same shit everyday, it used to feel like death. (I might have ADHD) But you know what, there is some simplicity in having things in a system, you can eat fun things and be healthy, you just need to eat boring healthy, usually the same food(s) for about 80-90% of your meals.

To be fair it could happen in some circumstances but I don’t think it’s normal, there is just no business case, reinsuring works by the insurance company paying a part of the premiums to the reinsurer to insure X amount from the portfolio, reinsurer would have to do the same, you run out of money quite soon.

I don’t know that much though, I am new to the company and I am in IT, so it’s not my domain to know exactly how it works.

Reinsurers don’t really take out their own insurance further, at least I haven’t heard of that happening. I do work for one of those Reinsurers

Well, if we follow that logic, then where you end up is the emptiness of space, even if you go back exactly one year.
