oh wow the people who support the genocide are very concerned that the victims are starting to fight back
real when it comes to concern for the civilians
But doesn’t call for restraint on Isreal killing civilians. Funny how Isreal became the facist genocidal tyrants.
My friend, if only one side is clearly evil then you must always challenge your perception. Things are rarely simple in international affairs (or anywhere in general). Both sides have commited great wrongs, what matters now is to dissuade them not to commit further. Sadly, we are powerless in this conflict.
White European settlers are living on stolen land and stealing more land while ethnically cleansing the nonwhite population.
Stop trying to “both sides!” this.
More than half of Israel’s Jews are non-white and not European
Nearly half of all Israelis are from Europe and America, but more importantly they and their descendents are the ones that own the largest businesses and usually ones that hold political office.
Israel isn’t racist the same way America is, but it is definitely colorist. That’s why Israelis from Asia with passing complexion get many of the same perks the whites do.
You think an Ethiopian Jewish immigrant will ever be the Prime Minister?
America? They’re a small minority. There are many more Israelis from Former USSR areas for example than Americans. Actually those were amongst the first who fled to the area of Israel even before the country was founded.
I’m not American so I don’t really understand what do you mean by “colorist”.
A lot of Israelis are mixed by this point.
And there are plenty of Jews from Arab nations for example who are in places of power in Israel.America? They’re a small minority. There are many more Israelis from Former USSR areas for example than Americans. Actually those were amongst the first who fled to the area of Israel even before the country was founded.
i.e. more Euorpeans, which doesn’t really contradict my point.
I’m not American so I don’t really understand what do you mean by “colorist”.
Actually it’s not even a US-American thing!
Colorismo is how racism has manifested in Central and South America - rather than strict categories of race, there’s a range of skin shades that correlate with social status and judicial bias and economic outcomes. It has to do with the differing historical context for how European migrants mixed with Natives and the freed Caribbean slaves, as opposed to the US which maintained much stricter racial segregation and thus produced the very strict “Black” and “white” racial categories.
So in Israel if you look at the highest levels of wealth and power you’ll see a lot of light skinned faces. Jews from Arab nations are in places of power, but only the Jews with passing complexion. And Jews from Ethiopia will never enjoy the same level of status.
You do realize former USSR also contains Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan?
Even Caucasus Jews from Chechnya, Dagestan and Ingushetia are considered Mizrahi Jews, since they are originally Persian Jews.Interesting to learn.
I don’t know what’s “passing complexion” and what is a dark enough color skin for you.
There are Ethiopians in the Knesset. There are also Ethiopians in the Media and in high positions in the army. There used to be very obvious racism against Mizrahi, Indian and Russian Jews from the later aliyot years ago. But things are different now.
The issue now is more an issue of tribalism rather than racism.
For example, you’ll see animosity between different groups of Mizrahi Jews or even different groups of Yemenite Jews much more often these days, as compared to other groups.
Or between different branches of Judaism.
And what country do you live in?
Amerikkka i.e. occupied stolen land on Turtle Island.
Same shit, different century.
I bet you make this exact comment in all the threads about the Russian invasion of Ukraine, right?
this all began when antifa thug nelson mandela normalized rudeness
I just love it when someone uses descriptives like anti fascist as a negative. It tells me a lot about them.

Western leaders really popping off with their support of a genocidal regime.
Your account is on hexbear…
Reports indicate that Israel is launching air strikes on Gaza towers, Hamas has destroyed multiple Merkava tanks with drones, and that there are 70 confirmed Israeli and 198 confirmed Palestinian casualties.
There are big questions about how Israeli intelligence was caught so off guard by this attack.
Are they actually that incompetent, or was it known and allowed to happen anyway?
With the US having given so much hardware to Ukraine, I imagine that Israel is on its own. If this effort is sustained, I wonder what the US will do, especially if Israel asks for help. Intervention by the US could trigger other countries into action. Or they wouldn’t do shit, iunno.
Hopefully Palestine is able to get out from under the boot with this one.

Never. Israel is the 51st state.
This is the best summary I could come up with:
International leaders condemned an unprecedented incursion by Palestinian militants into southern Israel, while governments across the Middle East called for restraint after an attack that shook the Israeli security establishment.
Egyptian officials said they were scrambling to contain the crisis diplomatically, including regular consultations with the Jordanian foreign minister, Ayman Al-Safadi, in an effort to find ways to de-escalate the situation.
“Egypt called for exercising the utmost restraint and avoiding exposing civilians to further risks, warning of serious repercussions as a result of the escalation of violence, which would negatively affect the future of truce efforts,” the foreign ministry said.
The incursion shocked international observers, particularly among the governments of the Middle East, upending expectations that Israel could continue to push for peace negotiations with former foes across the region despite increasing violence on the ground.
The Turkish president, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, called for restraint from all parties, a sentiment echoed by Qatar, which has long provided financial support to the besieged Gaza Strip and blamed Israel for the increase in violence.
The UAE, which signed a deal to normalise diplomatic relations with Israel two years ago, also issued a statement describing “deep concern about the escalation of violence,” and calling for “maximum restraint and an immediate ceasefire to avoid dangerous repercussions”.
The original article contains 847 words, the summary contains 212 words. Saved 75%. I’m a bot and I’m open source!
