It really depends on the instance. For example, I am to the point of blocking politics on .world because they take a “both sides are the same” approach to moderation.
Most of my deleted comments and bans come from there.
I wouldn’t say Lemmy is worse than Reddit. Just different. I’ve never had a Lemmy mod tell me to write a three paragraph essay about my feelings on the patriarchy to get unbanned, because I made one comment in /r/conservative pointing out that Trump got vaccinated
Shout-out to the WitchesVsPatriarchy mod team, y’all are clowns lmao
Too bad that when you are strong worded your comments get deleted by the moderator teams or whatever it is called here on Lemmy.
Reddit and Lemmy, two peas in a pod.
I’m sure I won’t find anything out of place in the modlog then?
Go ahead.
Call them out on !yepowertrippinbastards@lemmy.dbzer0.com
Modlogs are public for a reason
Edit: also, your own moderation history isn’t the best looking: https://lemmy.dbzer0.com/modlog?userId=3895205
Wow, those deleted comments are… something

!politics@sh.itjust.works can be an alternative
This is the post that got me banned from ten forward. A year earlier I warned another person to not argue with the mod because they will ban you.
Lemmy is actually worse than Reddit.
