I take that either you browse by all and did not check what community this post is in, or you are subbed to something you are not interested in.
The Marvels had a target audience that didn’t watch the movie, and a “wrong” audience that watched it and didn’t like it.
This movie seems to have no hype at all in no audience group.
Austria has a quite big drinks economy for being a small-ish country. Now I havent tried each of these yet, but here are a few brands:
As someone who watched the super bowl and actively looked at posts in the fediverse on my second screen, I think that @laurenshof@indieweb.social missed out on posts because he looked under the “superbowl” hashtag which had been taken over by people posting owls. Quite a few posts about the game and the halftimeshow happened under inconsistent hashtags like #nfl, #sblix, #superbowllix, #halftimeshow, #superbowl2025, #superbowlhalftime, #kcvsphi, etc. Some people used no hashtags at all and I found their posts by fulltext-searching for terms like “Mahomes”. Mainly seemed to me like people werent in agreement with each other on which hashtag to use for their posts.
The problem here is that Mastodon will let people opt out of being post quoted, but it currently looks like Misskey and other fedi software will not respect that setting
Yeah. Could have simply made it a point for fastest lap period, no matter if you’re in the top 10 or outside of it.
Dating apps are actually on decline, mainly being used by millennials. Gen Z uses dating apps way less on the average and prefers other ways of dating, according to numbers by the apps themselves
Well ot kinda was true for the time of the big reddit exodus, there were very active and massively upvoted threads about one instance defederating from another, instances debating on whether they should defederate, beehive publicly wondering whether to ditch lemmy etc
This 100%. And there are other former-reddit-3rd party apps as well afaik
Time really flies, at least it feels like it when names like Goethe, Lindblad and Martin are already in this article - few years ago they were quite a few junior serieses down
Which in turn is probably the reason why the devs dont focus on Web ui
Lemm.ee tries to be as middle-ground as possible and defederates from no “controversial” instances
They definitely got criticized and she was casted years before her alleged anti-vax incidenr
Not true IMO, Lemmy is way more after interoperability than for example Mastodon
Are Lemmy devs aware that this would be a possible way of something to support?
Well, niche communities can work if you get a big niche community to be on lemmy. For example, the F1 community was super huge and active in 2023, far outranking many other specific communities. However a lot of F1 people seem to have left lemmy in the off-season between 2023 and 2024.
I might be completely wrong here, but could it partly being an issue of people not thinking about searching the term JRPG?
I usually use scaled for my subscribed feed and it works decently. Recently was advised to try out “newest comments” sorting for the subscribed feed and I like that even more!
Testing with the new livery would be a really stupid move as they are not supposed to show it before the launch event. Maybe it is a testing livery?
