I was too undisciplined, and looking back I probably have too low of intelligence ceiling, for engineering, those guys are cut from a different cloth.

Hell yes! Grandma was wild! I love old person stories, so many of them are fabricated, but also so many that I think are fabricated turn out to be legitimate. Oh you did party with (famous people from back in the day)? No shit…

Man I should’ve read through the comments before I made a reply comment to another person, I could’ve added a source for every one of my “games will complain about X if a sequel is released” just from the comments here.

Rebuilding from code up instead of continuously adding to an overburdened foundation, I don’t know why he’d want to start fresh at all. And he can’t just rebuild and re release because the "mod scene"would pitch a fit

“gamers” would have a cow if there was ever a sequel seriously discussed. He already charged them once, how dare he charge them again.

Alternatively go hang out at an old folks home, they’d love your company, they’ll regail you with stories from their glory days, and they’ll probably talk you up to their family.

Volunteer your time at animal shelters/public service events.

Very easy to tell if someone knows what they wrote about in a two minute conversation. My wife grades/t.a’s at a university, it’s obvious when someone doesn’t know the information in person (and she’s very understanding towards people who cannot verbalize the information but still know it). The old professors aren’t very keen to it, but the graders can very easily smell the bullshit.

And if you know the information well enough, but send it through gpt for editing/refinement, that’s usually accepted, unless you’re in a class that grades on composition.
