Not that I went, but had old family members at some of the originals. Burning Man used to be about connecting with nature’s spirit and what have you. Now it’s just an excuse for Instagram photos. The people attending seem like they are on the cops side in this situation - a total 180 from what the festivals roots were. Fucking pathetic.
What a hateful article. The author seems to get off on it when idealistic people who try to save all our asses get beaten up by the pigs - disgusting! Why the fuck did none of the burning man attenders show solidarity? Isn’t burning man supposed to be a counter culture festival?! I did not watch the videos - that kind of shit triggers me way too bad …
