    I had these books as a child. Very wholesome. Some of the morals of the story included lying to your friend:

      I’m just saying, Toad lied first when he said he wasn’t home. At least Frog’s lie made everyone happy.

      Also, if you like this energy, Still Game is a delightful show currently on Netflix about two old Scottish men having similar adventures. Their accents are so thick I need subtitles, but I love it!
