I would gladly volunteer myself to do labor in a country the US destroyed. Not because I’m “cucked” and feel individually to blame, but it’s just…the right thing to do.

Granted, I’d “volunteer” Karen, Allen, Braxton and Layknn to do twice as much 😅

Fair enough, honestly my mind wasn’t even anywhere near such a possibility (I highly doubt most Americans would be remotely willing to do so, coming from Canada- a country I feel is very similar in these aspects- and also, American labor will be needed to rebuild their own country, already from the state it presently is in, before any hypothetical mass unrest, collapse, or continued destructive status quo taking its toll on the country further). Frankly if you were to ask me (though I’m maybe a pessimist here) I’d expect Karen, Allen, Braxton, and Layknn to all have a high chance of engaging in terrorism rather than lifting a finger to help those whose problems most of them would see as completely “unrelated” to their own imperial comforts (or lack thereof) anyways. With the exception of German labor post-WW2, western and white people pretty much never clean the messes they cause (on a societal level)- and honestly? I feel that white, western societies (not individuals) are terrible at even realizing the notions they have guilt, even when they’re living on stolen, ethnically cleansed land- German national guilt, while appropriate, seems to have been a blue moon event (understatement) and clearly not resulted in any of the proper lessons (such as- “never again” meaning “never again to all genocides”) sinking in.

Personally I feel much the same, though my identifying with my country has decreased drastically with the blatant Sinophobia and yellow peril narratives (which hit me hard as an ethnic Chinese), and complete disillusionment with liberal electoralism here- I still identify as Canadian, but I’m not particularly happy about it, and I’m outright ashamed of this country, its history, and where it’s headed.

My take on it was more of the following- for Europe and the west to even begin making amends and rejoining the rest of humanity, reparations (much of it likely in the form of assistance industrializing, moratoriums and reforms of IP laws, and the seizure of what tangible state and corporate assets can be done) are necessary to pretty much the entire rest of the world from the west, as is the return of indigenous land and autonomy and governance of that land; the return of all stolen antiquities and reparations for all past unequal treaties, regime changes, corporate misbehavior, “post-colonial” unequal royalties and other agreements, etc. to the fullest extent possible (ie. it would still always be insufficient, but oh well).

All that, and also the beginnings of reeducation and intense promotion of indigenism for the west to undo centuries of Eurocentrism, white supremacy, and mental colonization right from the cultural core of the issue.

Naturally, I don’t expect any of these (not a single one of these things) to ever be accepted willingly or peacefully, not merely by the powers that be, but by the majority of whites in the west- and this is as someone whose partner is white, who has many white friends, who had honorary white grandparents, etc etc etc. Best case scenario is that the western world comes to such conclusions itself through its own revolutionary process (and it’d have to be a revolutionary process- though even then I can’t help but doubt it, even if I don’t rule it out entirely). If not that, I can only hope that someday humanity can be reunified (through western Europe and the Anglosphere becoming effectively UN-governed mandates or something or the lot- having the rest of humanity shove decency and repentance down the west’s throats whether they like it or not).

This is just how I see it, yes.

I agree such people would rather become terrorists, hence my quotes around “volunteered” lol 😁 though I agree that if we were to clean a mess, it should be the mess here on these lands first, the Black Americans and Natives.

I imagine a big power like China would have to step in to enforce such international consensus, which would be massively unpopular; I’m sure by the time socialists have wrested control of this land from fascists et. al., we should be lucky if there is much capital, resources etc. still intact.

Agreed- though if you were to ask me, end of the day, there are only three main paths I can see ahead for the west- increasing fascism (with occasionally decreasing fascism portraying itself as a “return to liberalism”) ie. the status quo which is inherently deeply unstable and headed off a cliff, internal collapse and revolution (which could then hopefully head to the right direction, and if not is probably headed eventually back to the cycles of fascism and “liberal democracy”), and world war (which would then- frankly, ideally see whatever’s left afterwards needing to be decisively policed by an international consensus, and if you were to ask me- if it comes to that point, then it would also need to be de-whitened through either opening the floodgates of mass migration and foreign troops and administration to prevent such an imperial core from ever rising up again)

    • I have also said many times that I’d love to volunteer my skills and knowledge to Vietnam, Indonesia, Cambodia, Loas, Ethiopia, or any other “non-luxurious” country which has been held back by imperialism. I just don’t necessarily think it’s the best way to help until we have a much more equal world. Bringing that about is priority even if it makes you feel like you’re not directly helping at the moment.
