I love this idea. I dream of being able to do more than just lock all my devices in a bottom drawer, buried in towels.

    The concept’s pretty simple. You want to make the gap between conductive elements smaller than the wavelength of the signal you want to capture.

    Basically you’re creating a gaussian surface. So the smaller the wavelength from like microwave, the small area of e conductive grid needs to be. If your grids larger than your wavelength then the radio signals can still go through.

    This is why a completely enclosed metal box is a very good Faraday cage.
