Report: Amazon will ditch Android in 'all of its new devices' starting with Fire TV

Amazon has been using “forked” versions of Android to power its products for years now, but the company is apparently...

This would be horrible for people who enjoy sideloading APKs.

It would be funny if they made it to stop sideloading just for the community to make a dedicated user repository.
