Hamad said that Palestinians are the victims of the occupation, therefore no one should blame them for the events of October 7 or anything else, adding: “Everything we do is justified.”

Palestine really is a piece of work. What other country would be defended if they said this?

      Palestine ≠ Hamas

Assuming you give a shit, of course. I’ve not seen more than a handful of lunatics defend Hamas. Most folks are just trying to avoid exactly the same conflation you’re using here, because there are innocent Palestinians caught up in this bullshit, and they don’t deserve to be murdered any more than Israelis do.

        Palestine ≠ Hamas

Hamas is literally the government of Palestine in the Gaza Strip.

‘Russia did not invade Ukraine, only the Putin administration invaded Ukraine’ - A wildly incorrect statement

‘Palestine did not invade Israel, only Hamas invaded Israel’ - An equivalent statement

That was so dumb it hurt to read

I don’t blame Russian citizens for invading Ukraine…do you?

Both countries (Russia and Palestine) are run by people the citizens didn’t exactly vote for in a fair election. There’s shitbags who DO genuinely support these criminals but on the whole it’s not their policies or actions that keep them in power.

War is a game played by the elites in power and the citizens are the pawns. It’s always been that way.
