More than a bit tinfoil, but I am increasingly wondering just how co-opted hamas is by (allegedly?) Iran at this point. It is not a secret that basically the entire region hates the Palestinians and only support them as a way to attack Israel. And… there is no way this ends even slightly well for Palestine.
Just to add some more tinfoil, I have seen speculated that Hamas was the only group Netanyahu allowed to gain power, because the threat from Hamas kept him in power. Ironically, if that weren’t true, Hamas would be in power anyway, because of the IDFs constant attacks and land-grabs in Palestine.

Both countries (Russia and Palestine) are run by people the citizens didn’t exactly vote for in a fair election. There’s shitbags who DO genuinely support these criminals but on the whole it’s not their policies or actions that keep them in power.
War is a game played by the elites in power and the citizens are the pawns. It’s always been that way.
