DS2 has the best atmosphere with that extra despair in every character, the best kitty, best hexes … and also my little ponies …
Agreed with all, but I’m not sure that I remember the ponies…
Riders of the storm, in the horsefuck valley, between one and two magic pussies, right after some cheerful sledding, can’t miss them (it’s in the Ivory King DLC). They are all magical & friendshippy.
(And they are also reindeer, but that doesn’t sound as cool I think)
Did I skip this dlc content??? Ok, I need to start a new run soon.
Oh, in that case sorry for the spoilers/I’m glad I might have been just vague enough :).
Also I forgot to say that DS2 has the best hub - I want to retire to Majula, live next to Sweet Shalquoir, look at the sunset, maybe have drinks with the stoner lady.
DS2 is indeed rewarding to fully replay every few years imho, tho I never did just quick runs, always 100%ing it.
I love the hub, the environments, and the creative changes they experimented with in 2.
My opinion doesn’t matter much since I only played DS1 and 2 so far, but I liked DS2 more so I can tell my list would be wack
Still more inclined to replay DS2 over Elden Rings empty sandbox.
Ima be honest ill play all of m again. But ds1 and ds3 are just better.
Here’s my order:
Ds1, Sekiro, Bloodborne, Ds3, Demon Souls, Ds2, Elden Ring
Really wish they would release Bloodborne for PC :(
Honestly just give it a ps5 patch to run at 60 and I’ll be a happy camper.
The only non-viable soulslike is Lies of P with its British art, Italian names, and fucken random ass gnosticism at the end. I like my shit nicely wrapped in a congruent theme and aesthetics. Even ERs G, R, M naming structure is better.
