Trump is still over a million people under Barrack’s deportation record. It’s a vile machine that hasn’t stopped or faltered regardless of which party rules.

And yet you have no way to back that up because the legal process is being ignored with Trump, so there aren’t records.

I’m just looking at numbers from this article , which is citing TRAC data, putting Obama at 3.1M people deported and Trump at 932T for his first term and “about 200k during his first four months”. It also notes that this is lagging behind the deportation numbers of Biden during a similar time frame.

It’s true that we may not know the full extent of either administration’s horrors for many years.

I’m not trying to simp for Obama, but Trump is worse in every way… and most of the shit he does is just not documented (ironically since the GOP doesn’t like undocumented people)

I’m not arguing that Obama is worse than Trump or vice versa. I don’t think anything will meaningfully change unless we can acknowledge that the US is inhumanely monstrous to immigrants regardless of which party is in charge. Obviously Trump’s escalated use of ICE like Gestapo is abhorrent, but it isn’t a new role for the agency.
