Someone posted this last week:
Caption: “I hope the NVidia driver doesn’t crash”.
Nvidia doesn’t have stable drivers. Report for misinformation.
Lmao
Well, they work FINE… When they compile! They sometimes do, but never without an overwhelming amount of warnings.

Anyone know if this fixes MSAA? I’m kinda sick of having to override my antialiasing in the Nvidia Xconfig app to force fxaa
they will always end up breaking MSAA yet again somehow anyway.
Does this fix the pageflip issue which freezes one random monitor at any given time ?
I solved this issue by selling my 5080 and getting a 9070xt no more black screens, or memory crashes, or random system lockup, or random game crashes.
Switched to Linux from Windows this year and Nvidia has taken the largest share of hardware troubleshooting. I’m open to ditching Nvidia for my next pc build.
Is there a GPU brand that is more Linux friendly or is this just a manufacturer wide problem given the amount of different Linux distros and smaller market?
AMD drivers are open source and built into the kernel. You should have very little problems with team red on linux. From what I’ve seen the new Intel cards work pretty well too.
Nvidia is known for their problems on Linux.
