Seriously, it’s okay to feel slighted when you’re given a choice between three mobs and the worst one wins. Imagine if Mojang had just added glow squids and allays, instead of having people root for two other options just to let a slight majority (53% and 54% respectively) decide. People might actually like those mobs.
You say that as if we don’t want other people to enjoy the game that’s there. It’s not a difficult thing to sympathize that these mob votes are a needlessly frustrating thing.
I hate this template because it’s always the person making it who wants to control what other people are allowed to do and talk about.
Not trying to control anyone, just offering an opinion that some people are just fine playing the game. Do I have my criticisms? Sure. But I don’t harass or insult the developers about it. The fact that people won’t pay attention unless someone is loud and harsh doesn’t mean I support that practice.
If you’re fine just playing the game then what do you need me for? And I’ve called mojang lazy plenty of times but I’ve never harassed a developer.
God forbid people care about the game’s development. Nobody is trying to stop you from playing or enjoying the game.

Because the entire point of the vote is to make people feel part of the event. If a mob doesn’t get added, its functionality will be added to something else. One example is the grindstone, which took the functionality of one of the 3 mobs of the original mob vote.

I think everyone who wants all 3 and bashing them over just adding one is actually having fun with the game. This post is just stupid.
Just because you are having fun, others don’t have to and they are free to express that they don’t. Even if you or someone else enjoys the game you and them are allowed to criticize it. Even if it was a perfect game with nothing to criticize, people are allowed to criticise it’s devolopers and the corporation that owns the game
Well said, I hope people don’t take my meme to harshly. I just feel like sometimes the criticism is a little overwhelming especially when we get close to Minecraft Live. I certainly have my own criticisms with the game, but I’d never throw hate towards developers because they were focusing on something different. I am in no way attempting to silence other people. I’m just saying that just because others criticize the game doesn’t mean I have to.
The only way Minecraft becomes useless to me is it Microsoft kills mods or kills unofficial clients.
Their official client is dog shit, and mods keep the game going in content droughts.
I’m just a caveman that just plays modded Minecraft up until 1.12.2, don’t mind me.
