On YouTube, videos featuring these bizarre and overwrought tales are proliferating, claiming Trump-world figures bested their antagonists during micro-interactions: at restaurants, on the street, in little-known court cases, and on late-night talk shows. These videos often generate thousands of views and a flood of supportive comments—and they’re all completely fake.
Hit them with copyright strikes, that seems to work on legit channels
Who is watching this slop? Are we sure there are real people watching it, or is it just AI watching AI?
My grandparents believe it’s real, and only furthers their delusional support of Trump.
Recommend not letting old people use YouTube unattended. Same for children.
Really, no one should be using most of YouTube. It’s a big ol’ cognito-hazard.
Don’t have the time to keep them from watching misinformation and AI slop on YouTube all the time, unfortunately.
While there’s not much I can do about stopping them from searching for and watching right-wing extremism, I can at least keep YouTube itself from recommending it by telling the algorithm not to recommend certain channels.
would something like this be illegal under the Take It Down act or is it just AI fakes that make Trump look bad
To be clear, they make trump’s administration look good.
yes that’s why I’m asking if something that makes trump look good would be taken down under the Take It Down Act
Oh I see. That’s easy, no it would not.
With YouTube complicit.
I mean, YouTube has let all sorts of horrible things fester on their platform. Anti-vax stuff, far right extremism, climate denial stuff. They’ve got blood on their hands and I wouldn’t be sad if their leadership was hanged.
They’re like a snuff film mega outlet.
to think we can’t have cheap videogame cards anymore because of this slop
