      Because they’re lying. They proved time and again that blatantly and shamelessly lying is a viable and effective strategy with no negative consequences, so they’re doing it again.

        The goal in this case is create a false legal framework that allows Musk to continue stealing the US government.

        If theyre not called out for clearly lying, this is the framework that will clear them at the SCOTUS.

    The executive branch has no inherent authority to create agencies, let alone hire employees, aside from those already authorized by Congress.

    The only thing the White House can do is create advisory committees, which have no authority to execute policy. There is established case law on this. They must have a written charter, all their work is subject to FOI, and there is a limit on the number and pay set by Congress.

  4. Vote based on comment quality, not agreement. This community aims to foster discussion; please reward people for putting effort into articulating their viewpoint, even if you disagree with it.
  5. No hate speech, slurs, celebrating death, advocating violence, or abusive language. This will result in a ban. Usernames containing racist, or inappropriate slurs will be banned without warning

We ask that the users report any comment or post that violate the rules, to use critical thinking when reading, posting or commenting. Users that post off-topic spam, advocate violence, have multiple comments or posts removed, weaponize reports or violate the code of conduct will be banned.
