        You have no idea whether they’re profitable or what the sources of income are…since they’re private…

              If each rocket launch is 67 million dollars NASA provides funding for over 25 launches a year. That is an incredible amount of waste when those fall down. Waste of time, money effort, etc…

                When starlink satellites fall down?

                NASA doesn’t pay for starlink. NASA pays for SpaceX to launch NASA’s satellites, NASA astronauts, and DoD satellites. And this is a pretty good deal given that these rocket launches are the most bang for buck efficient rockets in the entire history of launching rockets.

                  Did you not read the post Starlink satellites are burning up. This is a terrible deal public money from NASA is funding this guys space junk.

                    Can you read? NASA does not have a contract with SpaceX to deploy starlink satellites.

                    And it’s better that they burn up than get stuck in orbit. We have enough space debris out there as it is.
