Today was a good day for bird watching it seemed. And of course it happens on a day I didn’t plan to do it. I went to see a Witch Hazel in a city park which is supposed to be blooming this time of the year (it was) and I found this Heron when I was walking through the bushes.

I also saw a Great Cormorant in the park. An Eurasian Jay is roaming around the gardens of my appartment building and today I saw it accompanied by another one. I guess it will be mating season soon for the little terrorist.

To top it off, a woodpecker also showed up in the gardens. I only need to see an owl today to make it perfect. But chances of winning the lottery are bigger than that.
