      In Undertale, you play as an oppressor that has a choice to give mercy instead of continuing a genocide on the oppressed. The oppressed fight back for the means of liberation, and rightfully do not trust you given the history of genocide the humans carried on the monsters. As Asriel says, “And not everything can be resolved by being nice. Frisk…Don’t kill, and don’t be killed, alright?”

      In this instance, the lib playing fights back in the end.
