Serious question: what makes the ‘tackle’ by the security guard NOT assault?
There was no prevention of a crime that would normally warrant force. In most places you have to be asked to leave before it’s trespassing.
That seemed overly aggressive for a first reaction.
That guy clearly wasn’t a security guard. He was the Fashion Police.
You know, it was a serious question but I can’t argue with this answer. Case dismissed.
Oh wow, a doctor and a lawyer!? You should be the first person to ever be disbarred for baselessly suing yourself for malpractice and countersuing for harassment. You’ll become a legend.
Are you a fartographer? Where can I smell your work?
Upon the easterly wind, my child; at the early dawn when the dew first begins to settle and my doo begins to drop.

I really don’t get security guards 😂 they can’t possibly make so much money that it’s worth escalating a situation like this… What if the guy was a lunatic with a knife under the bag… You really want to die for a fucking fashion show gig?
Jesus Christ just tell the guy to get off the stage and diffuse the situation…
WTF is it with cops and renta cops… Does no-one teach them to try to do things peacefully first?
fyi it is ‘defuse’, unless you are talking about perfume
Wow. Today I learned!
They could be talking about aromatherapy tho…
I’ve learned in the last few years that a sizable percentage of the human population is sitting there lipping their chops waiting, hoping, for their opportunity to be the asshole and hurt someone.
I hate it when uptight people correct other people’s grammar… but I would hate it even more if I said nothing and let you make this mistake in a situation that actually matters, SO:
It’s “defuse the situation”, like defuse a bomb. Common mistake.
Also, good question concerning security guards. I have no idea what their motivation could possibly be.

He works for rich people.
He could’ve literally just grab his shoulder and point him off the stage, where he was already going. But fashion is serious business, i get it.
That tackle was so over the top and unnecessary that it got me suspecting that the whole thing was staged.
Security wait their whole lives for moments like that. You just gotta go for the touchdown.
Yeah seemed more of an ‘okay, very funny, now let’s go’ thing than a ‘MR. FASHION GET DOWN’ thing.
Maybe that guard was just bored
Was there more to this video that I didn’t see? I didn’t see any tackle. Just saw the guy getting rushed off the stage.
Did you watch till the end? It wasn’t exactly a tackle but he full on got grabbed and carried off stage.
His mistake was that first look back. I know he was concerned about being tackled, but you need pure unadulterated confidence in situations like that. He had a good strut, but you could tell he was nervous. Had he just owned it, he might have made it all the way down and back.
Probably could’ve turned it into a deal with someone after it was all over if he’d have just worked it.
Imagine like Lady gaga wearing it on the red carpet

Lol no. Dude thought people wouldn’t realize but he was obviously not wearing anything remotely fashionable.
Like a fat guy trying to run on the field at a baseball game, just because you’re on the field doesn’t make you an athlete.
That looks more like actual clothing than a lot of things at a fashion show
It depends on the particular fashion show.
There are the art shows, which are where you see the crazy shit that could never be worn as real clothing.
Then you have a layer below that, where the clothes are actually wearable and geared toward rich socialites and shit, but still more or less an art show.
Finally, the layer below that is more of what will hit the high-end stores that season. The mass market fashion.
The top two layers are done so that the designers can sell custom clothing to the rich and famous, and then have their designs adapted to the bottom layer a year or two later. (or weeks/days later for fast fashion)
Clearly you haven’t seen some of the garbage they put on at fashion shows.
This guys problem was he should have acted like he belonged, not been acting all suspicious.
Have you been to fashion shows? I’d wear this before anything actually from the show.
A hero. Not a top tier (or even mid tier) hero, but the spirit is there.
Not sure if its my impression, but it seems people are looking at it like “yes, I can see it! Masterpiece!”
Dude needs to work on his walk.
Looks kind of staged to me. It’s just too perfect of a gentle “tackle” and both immediately exit stage-right.
