So prerequisite only applies before, not necessarily during. I was stating its going to be continually required that they’re pieces of shit. They are interchangeable in the same sense that a cheeseburger is always a hamburger but a hamburger is not always a cheeseburger.
Most people agree with him and nothing will ever change their minds. We are not living in a world of evidence based beliefs.
So. The secretary of defense is not an elected position. Most people in the country don’t even know who currently holds the role.
The opinion of those he leads and works with is much more important.

I feel this argument has merit:
That Trump is rewarding loyalty with little consequence to himself and at the same time testing senators to see who will fall in line. That also has the effect of making many fall in line (see Dictatoring for Dummies, P. 14). At the same time he gets to soften up the senate for candidates who are almost as outrageous but will seem reasonable in comparison.
Do we really expect votes against him? They’re always bemoaning how bad he is, followed with falling in line to vote as dictated to them.
That and the fact that he thought it was a good idea to throw an ax at a small target that had people behind. And his white supremacist tattoo. And the dude does not wash his hands after he shits. It’d be a shame if he and RFK Jr got cholera and/or hep C.
