I’ll add Geocaching to this list. Walk around, find hidden caches and solve puzzles.
It’s not focused on the walking places but instead on the finding of caches. I personally need to get out and do some that involve going on hikes!

Hey thanks, this is an idea that I hadn’t thought much about and I’ll have to consider it. I also need consider storage and how to get to a range without a car but those things are workable.
As for my mental health, I’m doing well and feel in a good place all around. I got married a year and a half ago and have a stable life. I’m doing good. This will have to be a process if I’m going to buy a rifle but your arguments have opened me to the idea.
I wish I could after on the guns things but I should not own a gun! I have a history of depression and I super don’t want to have easy access.
That said, put a gun in my hands and I’ll do my part to end fascism. I’m even a fairly decent shot for having only fired a gun 3 different times. Just please take the thing away from me when I rotate out.
Better yet, get me an fpv headset.
When I joined the militia I had promised myself to kill one Fascist – after all, if each of us killed one they would soon be extinct… -George Orwell, Homage to Catalonia
You would think that but you underestimate how much the system likes to punish those who labor for it.
Strawberry
Or alternatively: Breakfast.
I bought a steam deck and have been checking every day waiting for it to arrive… Or even be shipped! They finally packaged the damn thing!
Windows 10. I’ve since moved on to 11 but haven’t tried it since then.
I am also interested in the Lemmy opinion of windscribe. My wife really likes them but their app used to brick my computer requiring a hard reset so I don’t use them.
I think the part that always pissed me off more is that it doesn’t really matter where it came from! No one is really trying to let out a virus to ravage the planet… Unless they’re a bond villain.
We need to figure out where it came from because it’s important to prevent it happening in the future but politicizing it was always pretty fixing stupid.
What is more important is we have a new virus that is brutal and we need to stop or show its spread. My parents were on the Fox News bandwagon and would always tell me that I believe they’re crazy for thinking it came from China. I tried so many times to explain to them, it doesn’t matter where it came from, it’s out, in the global population, and we need to try to mitigate and prevent damage.
Honestly I love my tablet for reading manga. I know that as a kid I would have found a way to use it for other things but I think I would consider it for my kid for reading manga and comics. Maybe some type of e ink device…
They threaten to do this every time… And so like whatever, there are other news aggregators.
Don’t worry, I’ve got you covered!
I’m an American but the $1 burgers from Maccas were a life saver down there. I used to get 2 a day while I hitchhiked. But y’all also have canned tuna with some great flavors!
I was told going down there that it was outrageously expensive. And I found that true when talking about non-essentials, headphones and quality clothes. But groceries were shockingly cheap the entire time I was down there. I could spend $30 on a burger and fries, or I could get a weeks worth of food from woolies or coles.
Even better, the corner store, the gas station really, was owned by coles and I could get milk and eggs (things I want fresh, in small batches) and a small selection of anything else I wanted for the exact same price as the larger stores! This freed me up to get veggies and fruit at the market and always have enough food unlike at home.
While in Australia, I had higher quality food for less money with more convenience. All while getting told by people back home how expensive it was when they visited. Maybe I had a different experience since I went for a year but I live in Seattle now and I miss having a corner store within a 5 minute walk that sold all my essentials.
Also Woolies has their mini stores in the big cities and those things are fire.
But I’d rather look at what modern people are doing and saying.
We would too but unfortunately fascists pretend that they’re not fascist by claiming their political party freed the slaves.
This obviously ignores their bigotry and hate for people of color and distaste for women… And well, I digress. Suffice to say that these assholes try to claim they’re not racist despite all the racist bullshit and hate they spread, and they use this claim as proof.
We would love to ignore it but we can’t. Best we can do is inform ourselves.
Literally anything as long as I take ritalin first. Turns out I have ADHD.
Wait… You what now?
That article gets cut off. I could remove it on my computer but I figured the archive would work.
I’m not sure what I’m doing wrong though. Whenever I scroll down the page gets reloaded.
Edit: I kept going back and eventually found a snapshot that worked https://web.archive.org/web/20190212082650/https://medium.com/s/story/paw-patrol-is-a-republican-dystopia-f178161fce54
Holy shit TV Guide! I forgot about those! They’d just show up in the mail every week, I have no idea who was sending them or why but inevitably they’d be in the mailbox!
The first time I went to a friend’s house and they had a guide on the TV my mind was blown!
Oh and Tivo too! I learned about Tivo from a friend and had never even heard of DVR before that! The idea that you could just record TV at will was mind-blowing! I was like, “yeah but where do you put the cassette?”
That’s really old! Wolfram says it’s: 5.57458576 x 10^196 years old!
