Blended practical effects FTW!
Still hoping for The Thing 2011 SFX Cut.
That was established in the 1st act that ships weren’t a stable vehicle for transference to the Nexus.
No idea where this one came from, but I love it:
Kinda. Quark starts making one for Bashir in s6e20 “His Way,” but he rejects it partway through the process.
Edit: The drink itself.
At “Quark’s Bar” in the Star Trek: The Experience exhibit at the Las Vegas Hilton, there was an actual Warp Core Breach on the menu. A variant of Flaming Volcano, it was designed to be consumed by two or more people and consisted of ten ounces of flavored rums, Razzmatazz, fruit juices and ‘dry-ice’. The drink was actually created for the Experience. (Trekkers: Stories by Fans for Fans p 73)
And yet you didn’t order Quark’s famous Warp Core Breach?
But really, that sounds awesome.
Didn’t know that was a real thing.
It’s clever, but with a shade predatory business practice.
Today, Central Bark boasts over 40 locations in 12 states, facilitated by a strategic acquisition by NewSpring Franchise in 2021 and the leadership of CEO Bob Crawford since 2022.
Definitely a Ferengi operation.
That’s how you get a ship named after you.
Give or take. His species lives for centuries and I’m sure they lose track after a while.
Thanks for finding that comment meme a good home.
Not sure where to take it as of yet, but best to expect the unexpected.
You know, I wouldn’t want it any other way.
That’s painting Picard in a very dim light. Weirdly, he’s closer to Preston Garvey with regards to his morals.
Edit: Hat scale and placement.
