Thank you very much, Dave. It seems the problem still there Just saw another post on fuck_ai LW, a bit late to show on other Lemmy instances.
I guess it takes time to synchronize…
By the way, if you directly message me or if you tag me in the post, I will get an email and see it a lot quicker 🙂
I’ll send you DM next time.

World News@lemmy.world•Woman fined £150 for pouring coffee down drainEnglish
66·2 months agoThis story is really poor and badly reported, as it doesn’t explain WHY the Environmental Protection Act 1990 has these fines in place and why what this women did was wrong. Instead it’s a clickbait story that implies the woman is a victim.
That has already been explained in the article. 👀
Section 33 of the Environmental Protection Act 1990 makes it an offence to deposit or dispose of waste in a way likely to pollute land or water, including pouring liquids into street drains.

News@lemmy.world•Trump threatens 200pc tariffs on medicineEnglish
8·6 months agoIs this one of those things where I go and check where most American drugs are made and it’s already the us?
Just by looking at the value of drug imports to the US, most likely
Britain exports £8.8bn of pharmaceutical products to the United States and is home to some of the world’s largest drug companies including GSK and AstraZeneca.
Mr Trump’s drug tariffs would be especially punitive for Ireland, which is responsible for 28pc of America’s imported drugs.
The country, which exports $66bn worth of pharmaceuticals, has 30,000 people currently employed in plants by US drug companies.
