The Little Red Hen and Cory and the Seventh Story are the first two that come to mind.
It’s me, the Communist.

Only against the ruling class.
I do all my pirating with Transmission as my torrent client, so both?
A long time ago I pirated because I was poor and wanted to play Skyrim and stuff. I’d download movies occasionally too but streaming services came along and I mostly didn’t need to pirate anymore. Then the streaming industry boomed and the enshitification started. I got real sick, real fast with not being able to fined common movies that were either exclusive to a service I didn’t have or was behind a paywall of some other sorts.
So, I donned the hat again, beefed up security wit ha VPN, got a 6 TB hard drive, set up both Jellyfin and Plex(I need my IP addy to log into Jellyfin and kids and partner don’t know how to retrieve that so Plex is the backup.) and went back to the high seas. I pay substantially less to watch almost anything I want, than to trudge through 7 different streaming apps trying to find that one movie or show. It helps when you realize pirating against streaming apps only hurts those companies and not the creators themselves(unless you take all of the services originals into account, which is a cache 22 since anything that would catch my eye got cancelled after 2 seasons).
The propaganda treats must flow.
I don’t know what the fuck that means but if the Dems actually wanted to win, they’d run an actual candidate instead of a girlboss genocider cop.
This reads like you are at the “scratch a lib” phase.
It’s time to start working on dual power structures in your respective city.
The misuse of “POV” is sort of a meme in itself at this point.
Honestly I was going off the assumption that China had to recognize the Cuban blockade in order to trade with the US. I’m probably not as informed on that as I could be.
The funniest outcome for this would be that China just stops trading with the US altogether and opens up trade with DPRK and Cuba.
That would be so funny.
Now that I think of it, I wonder if the Astro team has AI shit built into their VSCode plugin.
I like DeepSeek more but it’s responses for AstroJS are actually worse from what I’ve seen. I am starting to think I single-handedly trained ChatGPT on Astro at this point lol.
My favorite thing about ChatGPT is telling it consistently I’m writing stuff in AstroJS and not ReactJS.
So, uh where’s this link for a junior position starting out at $145k? Asking for a friend…
If the US doesn’t fuck up it’s own demise and just dies peacefully, I can see that being the case.
But I think China would use their new powers to help lift other countries up instead of continuing to use the global south as a giant slave plantation like the US is doing.
idk why I deleted that comment, but also learned that you can undelete lol.
I’m not at all sure about the timeline order so that’s pretty cool. For some reason to me FF12 feels more future-y tho. I do recall someone stitched the map for the original Tactics and FF12 and they match up pretty much exactly.
Do you have more info on the “child’s dream” take? I’m curious.
This is mainly a FF focused comment. I might come back later and ramble about other franchises though.
A lot of JRPG franchises generally only have themes in common. So you can play Final Fantasy 6, 7, 10, 11 or 15 and have a self contained story. I donno if it’s been confirmed by Square but I do subscribe to the theory that Final Fantasy Tactics and 12 take place on the same continent, just a few hundred years apart. But even then, both titles are standalone and have nothing in common other than the same Ivalice.
There are a few franchises that have continuity like Breath of Fire(iirc) and XenoSaga.
As for where to start with Final Fantasy, 6 is a really good standout retro one, 7 is always a favorite, and so is 10. I don’t think you can go wrong with any of those. If you really like politics in games, 12 has all that and more. It’s my favorite of the bunch but that makes me an outlier. I also don’t recommend starting with it because it’s a huge deviation from the main game mechanics.
I work currently as a delivery driver so yeah, I’m outside a lot. I wear layers of thermal shirts, a synthetic sherpa-lined hoodie that is like 3 times warmer than my winter coat, some knitted gloves and hat, and super thick work socks designed for wear with steel-toed shoes. They are so thick, it’s hard to get my shoes on. So extra layers, warmer outerwear, etc. If it gets above 30f outside I actually start to sweat lol.
She’s getting that bag.
