New take on an ancient meme (same artist)
This is so fitting it’s uncanny
First drop then burn. You’re back to carbon but you double the efficiency (might not be double I’m not a psychic)
I don’t think DaVinci at 300 bucks for a lifetime license is a bad deal. I actually think it’s kind of incredible value. But as you’ve said, the free version is fantastic for anyone that doesn’t need any of their AI or collaboration stuff and who doesn’t need broadcast exports. And I think locking that last one behind a paywall is pretty fair considering people working in broadcast probably have the 300 bucks to spare.
Just came in here to rep Resolve because I appreciate what they’re doing so far. Despite all that, it could change at any time.
And as others have mentioned, there are open source video editors that you can use if you want something truly free.
The Disappearance of Hatsune Miku in sign language would be a sight to behold.
This whole thing was so predictable even to high school me, it’s ridiculous.
And I really do appreciate that. He’s doing some good stuff and really hope pixelfed and loops (and sup) continue on the momentum that they’ve got and gain a substantial enough Userbase that they’re really enjoyable to use. Just wanted to add the extra context because I think that’s relevant too!
The app is really bare bones. It’s also not federated (yet, but use a product for what it is right now, not what it promises to be).
Has potential but also dansup keeps running head-first into controversial takes.
That’s an insult to any and all cock gobblers.
I honestly don’t know how a company that’s supposed to know the industry took this long to figure it out. They’ve been giving people fortnite skins for a long time, they know the bar is super low for people to get super excited about changes instead of antagonizing them.
All I’m saying is that in this specific instance it’s giving the correct information. I am not commenting on it’s reliability outside of this specific example.
Totally fair. I find it useful sometimes but to each their own!
DDG’s AI Assist seems to at least talk about it in a future tense.
OSM unfortunately doesn’t seem public transit friendly at all. I did a quick glance over some of the documentation and it mentioned:
Whilst OpenStreetMap is probably not the place for full timetable information, adding information about public transport infrastructure and services to the map means that we can provide basic routing services.
Timetables are a must if you realistically want to use it for public transit. Currently it just tells me to walk to my destination for an hour and a half if I select public transportation. This is the main thing keeping me from using OSM.
The counter there is to have an AI summarize it. No time taken to write nor to read haha
And sets a precedent for moderation.
Sure, fair, meant more a new take visually
