That’s what happened to me. Couldn’t find much online. If you look on the app store there are loads of one star reviews with some hypothesises about what it does. Some people seem to think it scans all your images, decides what’s nsfw, and blurs them automatically. Can’t think how to check that without downloading some nsfw images and I’m not going to do that lol. I think you’re right about not worrying. If it is Google spyware, well, it’s not the only one I’ve got!
Xi opens investigation into Microsoft, open ai, claiming ‘substantial evidence’ that it’s engineers leaned on computers existing before developing its technology stealing all its technology through IP litigation.
They are for people who didn’t have a job before but who have a job now
Makes me wonder how much collusion there was to make US AI as resource intensive as possible to (a) generate demand in chips, which is (i) related to the trade war involving Chinese chips and (ii) was intended to keep the US ahead of the game and (b) ensure a need for fossil fuels (i) in itself and (ii) to undermine China’s lead in green energy. There’s not just the stock price to consider but the geopolitical angle.
No, no. I understood. I just thought it worked both ways and wanted to highlight that 😁
‘Found’ as in discovered or established?
Ironic comment
So the UK pm called Trump to grovel within 24hrs of Trump’s threat? And this is the leader of China’s great ‘competitor’? Hahahahahahahahahahahaha
Notice the ‘independent’ is pro trump. How else could you frame support from trump as a ‘major boost’?
There were also reports that the tech billionaire discussed removing Sir Keir from Downing Street.
Whither UK military intelligence?
The world has never seen a more spineless ‘leader’ except in other PMs in the UK, Canada, France, Germany, Australia, etc, etc – there’s a pattern, here.
How do British libs respond to this? Must be a pretty fucking embarrassing existence, voting for and supporting the Labour party over there.
I hoped it would give a better answer to June fourth, though.
Interesting. And there’s the answer, I suppose. It’s been decided that answering some questions is unhelpful or harmful.
Does it depend on the training data?
Option one: data in Chinese languages – model translates this for the English version. This one knows the ‘Chinese’ answers, whatever that means.
Option two: data in English for the English version. This one knows the ‘English’ answers, essentially distilled liberalism like chatgpt.
Either: political decision needed by the owners to walk the right line between domestic laws, culture, regs and international expectations/desires (foreign, English-speaker-dominated).
All this is a guess, tbh.
What does it say if you ask about ‘June fourth’?
Do you mind if I ask a few questions? I’ve been wary of AI in language learning because I don’t want to learn hallucinated words or grammar.
Does the app use AI to generate conversations or to guide you through human-written conversations? Or maybe both?
If you’re interacting with the AI in Chinese, how good is it? I imagine you didn’t be using it if it was poor but I’m wondering whether you put up with any obvious problems because some other features are worth it, for example.
Are you on the free, Chao, or Plus plan and was it an easy decision once you saw the features?
Tbh I can’t wait to use AI for this purpose, I just want to be sure the software is ready. I’ve seen some terrible translations in languages they I’m familiar with, so I’m wary.
One advantage is that it can let the writer play out some revolutionary themes. It’s safe. Can’t really explore that in a modern setting.
Me too and I was hoping for a surprise fact like 4 out of 5 tanks don’t have a canon or turret and are used only to cross difficulty terrain safely.
Added this to my list, thanks.
Natural-born might be read as ‘born to naturalised parents’ but I don’t know much about US law except that the constitution offers unbound freedom to say anything you like unless the people that hear it don’t like it.
So the same as the shared accommodation that I had to live in for most of my adult life because I couldn’t afford anything more. Except I could also be and was evicted for no reason other than the landlord’s whim.
Definitely the last bit. Imagine how funny it will be to push the communism button before Xi.
