Pretty sure California (one of if not the biggest buyer of everything in the US) can and will still set their own energy efficiency regulations.

I doubt these people are actually part of the community. Someone else posted a link in another thread explaining that this is a strategy of the far right to splinter LBGTQ solidarity. For example, the recent move by the Trump administration to remove transgender people from Stonewall history.
Surprised it hasn’t come back as a streaming channel series of films like “Knives Out”. It’s got a lot of potential.
Between the cuts and the tariffs, a lot of people are going to be out of jobs.
Not in my experience. Apple products and services are driven by the yay or nay of the CEO. The employees often push back on things as well if they have enough clout.
So they surprisingly hit their $90m opening target. After this it will probably peter out based on the reviews and super hero fatigue, and then head to streaming. Nothing stays in theaters anymore.
A lot of these “working families” voted these people into office. Twice. Reap what you sow.
It’s time for Tim Apple to retire.
Yep, it’s a lousy OS, and MS just keeps digging in and making it worse. Why?
Is the Senate closed this week or something?
Carbon capture is a boondoggle, just like “the hydrogen economy”.
That’s a roundabout way of saying “yes, fracking”.
You wouldn’t need to dispose of the water this way if you weren’t fracking in the first place.
“In the US, 20 percent of people with measles are typically hospitalized. Five percent develop pneumonia, and up to 3 in 1,000 die of the infection. In rare cases, measles can cause a fatal disease of the central nervous system called Subacute sclerosing panencephalitis, which develops years after infection. Measles also wipes out immune responses to other infections (a phenomenon known as immune amnesia), making people vulnerable to other infectious diseases.”
It’s sad because there are a lot of good people who work at Tesla. Elon is going to end up putting them all out of work at this rate.
Many people in the US have that “fear of the other” drilled into them starting at a very young age. Whether it’s skin color, religion, nationality, or sexuality — relatives, religious leaders, and politicians create this unnecessary fear. Just look at the current administration’s words and actions for example. It’s sick and sad, and it creates irrational behavior like this.
A little googling seems to indicate that meteorologist died recently. I couldn’t find cause of death. Makes me wonder if he was on meds or something that totally messed with his brain.
Lindsay Graham? He of the flippity floppity? The same guy who said Trump will destroy everything and then proceeded to support him anyway?
Yeah, don’t listen to that guy. He has no spine.
I’m reminded of how Apple had to write their own YouTube app for the iPhone.

So arrest them after the session ends? You can’t give people perpetual immunity to everything or they’ll just break all the laws.
