prole@lemmy.blahaj.zoneto Fuck AI@lemmy.world•I'm sure this has been posted here before, but it's too good not to repost.0·9 hours agoI don’t think they were blaming AI for the inability to follow directions without a GPS… They were making an analogy.
prole@lemmy.blahaj.zoneto Fuck AI@lemmy.world•I'm sure this has been posted here before, but it's too good not to repost.0·9 hours agoThose are the actual reasons why “AI” is terrible.
My main problem with it is how confidently incorrect it constantly is, and the fact that the media ignores this completely and pushes this “AI is smart” shit to the point where the average person doesn’t understand that LLMs are just glorified autocomplete.

prole@lemmy.blahaj.zoneto Mildly Infuriating@lemmy.world•The Mayor of Calgary, Canada, just received this warning letterEnglish1·9 hours agoYeah, the letter is pretty ambiguous in how it’s worded… It’s hard to tell if they’re chastising Calgary for removing bike lanes or wanting to add more (at the expense of motor vehicle traffic).

Residents living near fracking sites are significantly more likely to get cancer2·10 hours agoThat is why they said “adding more data.” We already know tons of other bad shit about it, now we know an additional bad thing.

People here were saying 2005 so I went with the one I knew from 2005. Also, first isn’t always best, the BF games made Halo look like a school project imo
I did miss the “on consoles” part of your quote though as I was referring to playing on PC so my bad.
prole@lemmy.blahaj.zoneto Fuck AI@lemmy.world•Finally witnessed somebody use ChatGPT instead of socialising0·10 hours agoThis made me think of that “I Think you Should Leave” sketch where Tim Robinson’s character feels left out at the office for not having a funny YouTube video to watch, so the next day he tells them he has one and it’s a video he created and posted the night before with only one view and they all immediately know he made it but he pretends he just found it lol
It’s cute that you think we’re going to have fair elections again.
You already broke it. But at least you didn’t “reward neo liberals”

But I guess it’s fine because you get to tell everyone that you stand up for what you believe in.
prole@lemmy.blahaj.zoneto Games@lemmy.world•Microsoft has never been good at running game studios, which is a problem when it owns them allEnglish1·10 hours agoYou have to remember that most FPS on consoles were pretty terrible back then
As someone who was busy playing Battlefield 2, I beg to differ.

prole@lemmy.blahaj.zoneto Mildly Infuriating@lemmy.world•US Congressmen praying inside the House of RepresentativesEnglish1·1 day agoYou have to understand that I’m not trying to defend the Democratic party here. It’s just important to be clear that both sides are not even close to being “equally out of their minds.”
Do I really need to go into details here, or is it not just self-evident based on the past 6 months?
Hah… typo or intentional?
