I think there is limit on daily messages you can send for free

I use ublock, but I think it is more aggressive than badger, can’t remember it broke some, but will keep an eye

it happens if you change files on each device while offline, if you change then sync it is ok, if you change same file on multiple devices, that is a conflict as it can’t decide which file you want to keep

I have it on RPi with NAS and it automatically accept shares and announce to other devices

I guess for barcode to connect to devices (device key sharing), it is optional, if you share something with other people (family)

each folder has its own permissions and allowed devices

you can add your devices manually and those are auto detected on LAN, you just need to confirm device key

that is what tor browser is recommending, but they refuse to bundle any ad blocker for different reasons which make sense. but I can’t browse with ads, I need uBlockOrigin…

so my thoughts are, if you install any extension you become more unique among tor browser users, and you have same uniqueness for all pages/tabs you load.

what if you appear unique every time you load any page in any tab?

but I read it can even fake what extensions are installed, reducing fingerprinting, but maybe providing another vector? we’ll see…

The problem I have with artificial environment is that humans (and all life on Earth) evolved in natural environment trough many many years. Can we be so certain that artificial environment (food, cosmetics, …) are not triggering undesired response, body trying to adopt to synthetic materials, what would be the outcome? I’m thinking about cancer, auto immune disease and similar.

We only observe consequences and for some it might take a lot of time to show, but then it might be too late to fix, or, fix in a hurry could make it even worse.

I always ask myself, for example, how long it took giraffe to develop long neck, why, and so on. It didn’t happened in 100 years, 3 - 4 generations.

How many food is now labeled “unhealthy” that was “healthy” few years back, or even medicine, this recent anti congestion in Sudafed (I think). There are examples everywhere.

We should be more humble and less arrogant when trying to understand complexity of nature and its processes.
