@ericjmorey yup. at least they give a shit
someone who’s interested in cybersecurity… and online privacy I guess. my old account is @moonwalk34
@ericjmorey yup. at least they give a shit
@ericjmorey and tha shitstorm continues
@netchami that might be the case, since tutanota has an appimage now
@netchami I don’t think it does. I don’t see any options to add a tutanota account and tutanota has their own application anyway
@netchami looks like hydroxide works for now, but you can view your email offline with electronmail as well
@netchami yeah, but isn’t it broken rn?
@netchami that’s true. I just use it to block ads and iframes
@neonred @lemmyingly I just run noscript. Not really comfortable with running outdated extentions
@yoz @cyborganism hosts file?
@baconisaveg @joenforcer I’d rather use NCSA mosaic
@voxel @linux idk, turn on a firewall and run a clamav scan once in awhile. I know that linux malware is pretty rare, but I think it doesn’t hurt to run a scan. Of course you could do some hardening, but for a new user I’d say do this at your own risk. https://madaidans-insecurities.github.io/guides/linux-hardening.html
