I have done this exact thing. Its what multiple career coaches have said to do. In my experience the networking aspect of job hunting is the part that actually gets jobs these days.
So, imo, this is not wrong. Bob agreed so it was fine. It does sound like maybe buying Bob a beer and not asking that particular Bob to do it again is reasonable. But the process in general is sound!
Came here to point out CoH!
Same! Very confusing thing first thing in the morning
'To put on one of his plays, you don’t pay his estate, you give a donation to a urangutan preservation society. ’
I didn’t know that, and now I love the man even more.
You could programmatically rearrange the meaning of sentences. Ie instead of “where is the library I need to get a book” you could do some sort of full word replacement cypher and end up with sentences like “Lets mambo down to the banana patch.”
Just for fun. :-)
Yeah, you have to be perfect and not get knocked off, otherwise its back to square one. Super annoying. But it does feel like a real accomplishment when you finally beat him!
Moldorm - The Legend Of Zelda: A Link To The Past (https://www.zeldadungeon.net/wiki/Moldorm_(A_Link_to_the_Past) )
This f’ing guy was hours of work to beat. Still the most annoying game boss ive ever encountered!
He said he was a racist Nazi who wanted to be a dictator. Yeah i blame the people who voted for him.
Mythos by Stephen Fry might be good. It’s not strictly Medusa, but she is in it.

The audio book is amazing as well, cause you get to hear how those old Greek names should be pronounced, lol
I got funds out of the blue like this once. Legit.
I could see a world where an AI teaches the mechanics of music, but is not relied on for evaluation of the students imagination in applying the mechanics.
When I was in art classes I wanted the class to teach me the techniques I did not know, but I was usually disappointed.
Like my life drawing classes would be me drawing images, and then getting judged on /what I already knew how to do/.
What I felt I would have benefited from was more along the lines of “here is three different shading techniques and how they can be used” or “here are three ways to use oil paints you’ve not used before.”
I always had ideas of images to create, what I could have benefited from was intros to more tools and ways to use those tools.
I could see an AI being able to do that for students of the arts.
This is true. I was just thinking in the case of the study, but /any/ help when needed is better than no help.
“How does AI tutoring compare to human tutoring?” Thats the first question that came to my mind!
“Use the best tool for the job, that the person doing the job is best at.” That’s my approach.
I will use bash or python dart or whatever the project uses.
Shapeshifter, magic, immortal. Boom.
Not exactly the same, but the Crash Course on Philosophy playlist is great: https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PL8dPuuaLjXtNgK6MZucdYldNkMybYIHKR
Dominaria/Brothers War is what was coming out the first time i got into magic. That was a fun time.
Now im back after a couple year break and am getting caught back up on all the happenings.
It seems like standard is a lot healthier now, there is a huge range of good and fun decks, so im happy about that. Im not sure how the universes beyond cards being legal in standard will fly. Im willing to give it a shot but spiderman next to Elspeth or Squee just feels… weird to me.
I’m trying to get into some of the other formats as well, to keep my interest longer this time.
Control+r == search through your bash history.
I used linux for ten years before finding out about that one.
For the federating its a new kind of AP actor. I’ll be putting in a FEP for it in the near future, but its basically a “Group” that only cares about the “Following” collection.
You can see example json for the AP interactions here: https://codeberg.org/rimu/pyfedi/src/branch/main/docs/activitypub_examples/feeds
The AP interactions for a Feed are:
