I had that happen at a Taco Bell once.

I really wanted Taco Bell, so I waited 40 minutes in line while the person in front of me was arguing with the employees at the window. I’m not sure if it was someone arguing over expired coupons for 40 minutes, or if it was some annoying shithead trying to do a viral stunt or what the problem was, but I really wanted Taco Bell and I was going to get it.

I think this could be one of those times where they planned on announcing it with the intentions of it getting shut down.

It’s actually one of my biggest annoyances, people announce projects they have no intentions of completing just to gain notoriety from having it get shut down.

If we’re talking RPGs like a lot of people in this thread are, while the Zelda GBC/GBA games were great of course (although not so obscure), I also really enjoyed Golden Sun. I believe another game I also played when I was younger was Racing Gears Advance, I think that one was a bit more obscure.

I use it for Plex/Jellyfin, it’s the cheapest NVIDIA GPU that supports both AV1 encoding and decoding, even though Plex doesn’t support AV1 yet IIRC it’s still more futureproof that way. I picked it up for like around $200 on a sale, it was well worth it IMO.

64GB would be a nice amount of memory to have. I’ve been okay with 32GB so far thankfully.

Not anymore. My main self-hosting server is an i7 5960x with 32GB of ECC RAM, RTX 4060, 1TB SATA SSD, and 6x6TB 7200RPM drives.

I did used to host some services on like a $5 or $10 a month VPS, and then eventually a $40 a month dedi, though.
