Same. Happy Friday
Same. Happy Friday
Sky pretty
Stony point line FTW!! looks like it’s clearing / getting back to normal but double check
Seems to be up for me now.
Is there a microwave at work? Wheatbix heated with milk is good.
I like Bircher muesli soaked overnight but that’s not hot…though you could probably heat it through in the microwave to make it more of a porridge…yeah that could definitely work.
OMG THATS AWESOME 😎😎 😎
Thank you for all the breakfasts bacon! I will have a chef’s choice spread so you can clear out anything that won’t fit on the TRUCK
Spoke to my friend who got hit by a car. She’s still in hospital and in for a big recovery but it could have been a lot worse. I’m so relieved. I just don’t understand how someone can sail out onto a roundabout and clean up someone right in front of them on the roundabout (who also has right of way). I really like being on public transport more and more.
Oh that’s good news. Glad he is ok
Sorry - I bought an awesome but not at all waterproof puffer jacket the other day. I have clearly doomed us all
Haha I understood this reference
thanks :-)
Thanks. I know that intellectually. I know that it’s also smashed me right back to childhood where there were a couple of big bad life changing moments like this. I don’t know why I expect I would ever be over that but I do. Thanks. I am gonna make a cuppa.
I can’t concentrate today. A close friend was in a bike vs car (cars fault) yesterday. They are still in hospital but ok -multiple fractures and chest trauma but could have been much worse. I spent yesterday babysitting and helping out and I thought I was ok but I keep getting the shakes today. I feel silly. I need to concentrate but I keep thinking about it.
Hug your peeps my peeps.
After jumping into the puffer jacket thread yesterday with a bold claim you need neither a big jacket nor a puffer…I succumbed today and am now one of the great Melbourne puffy community.
My fav little local store was having a sale so I got a proper down one for half price so just a bit over a hundred. I have to admit I am very toasty warm
To throw a spanner in the works my current go to (with a long underlayer) is a lightish jumper (usually woollen) and a shell jacket that doubles as a raincoat over the top. Super efficient at keeping out the wind and easy to pack down. I walk everywhere so it’s heaps warm enough the wool jumper is warm for inside.
Other than that I would go puffer first for packability (I love my pea coat but rarely wear it now)
Oh bum. I always tried to use them when I buy online
I have a older style garmin (that’s small and has an actual working watch face so it doesn’t look like a fitness tracker). I mainly wear it for the tracking and stress/HRV tracking but the watch bit is handy when I’m in meetings or dealing with public transport or trying to put down the phone. I lived happily without a watch for many years but since I got it I’ve worn it all the time. If it broke I’d probably go without again until I found something I like that fits.
I am grateful for digital reminders so I can set one to remind me to take off my rainbow unicorn oodie before jumping on my very-serious client teams meeting later today
