That’s interesting. I think this country was built on massively shifting zeitgeist, from the revolution and all the things it has produced that seemed radical at the time like the declaration of independence and the constitution and its initial amendments; to the recent civil rights movement – especially with movements like the Black Panthers. Major social zeitgeist shifts have been this countries bread and butter since its very origin.

Well, right now it seems to be going the other way around, as we begin to remove and rewrite American history to our liking – largely exclud9ing slavery and the near genocide of the native American population, Jim Crow, Civil Right and much more.

Furthermore, we need to address why, as a democracy, we voted for an icon for racism, sexism and incompetence; and what that says about where we are at right now. However, we can’t seem to agree on the color of shit once it is known that one is engaging with he opposite side. How can we hope to have such grand conversations when we can’t even have the most elementary ones?

It’s a bit ambitious for just myself but I want to make a fork of Mortal Online 2 but for NA and have the melee mechanics mimic Chivalry 2.

But I haven’t been able to really code much at all being in this bootcamp full time to change career paths from software development to cyber security on top of working a few other jobs. I also have a plethora of other ideas once this bootcamp ends and I can hopefully find something stable.

Not surprised by this at all, really; but I wonder if the code is of higher quality than without AI?

This is so fascinating. People will choose authoritarianism because the dictator will hurt the people they hate even though he has been and will continue to hurt them even moreso. American politics has reached a level of pettiness and childishness that it seems pointless to even engage with it.

why would putting someone who knows nothing about governance and politics in the most powerful positions in government and politics even be a good thing, or not a bad thing? Like I have aforementioned, appealing to people’s fears and prejudices isn’t something new or special. That’s like saying “there hasn’t been any change so instead of doing research and actually voting differently, I’m going to continue voting for the same 2 parties and continue to expect change. especially if one of them knows fuck-all about what’s going on and how to be a leader.” I disagree. but TL;DR…

MY point and my question to American voters is why they feel that putting a man in a position that he is completely not educated or competent in would be beneficial for anyone?

We already saw this type of behavior with Hitler. Appealing to people’s fears and prejudices. Appealing to people’s tribal instinct of the “U.S. vs them.” dichotomy. it’s not new or special just because his retarded ass does it. And it’s sad that the average American voter seems to be too historically illiterate to see the exact same signs. History truly is doomed to repeat itself.

I don’t even think trump has made good on a single promise yet — from “no new wars”, “affordable groceries”, “no taxes on tips” and yet, even though he basically flat out lied to his supporters faces, they still support him. Why?

So you are telling me that Donald Trump is a credible attempt to take a sledgehammer to the status quo because he is politically retarded and the left doesn’t have someone who is politically retarded so that increases the right-wing pull? Like, I’m not even sure if Donald Trump can presently tell you what a tariff is, or the responsibilities of the 3 branches of government. I’m more interested in why the nation thought that voting for a man who is (at least) politically retarded would have been a great thing in any way, shape or form. Like no one would hire someone who has never touched a computer in their life as CTO of some company; but we would vote Donald trump into one of the most powerful positions in the nation with no real credentials, experience or education in law and governance at all. Baffles me.
