I play on Switch and Pc, different games on each. The attraction to games on the switch for me isn’t graphics or power or performance… at all…
It’s gameplay and form factor.

Wow what a glow up, looks great!
Not that I disagree with the points, but this sure feels cringey.
Today I saw a group of Trump advocates waving flags and whatnot on a walkway over a highway and as I was about to share 1 of my 10 fingers with them I saw that they had kids there waving some of their Trump flags and paused. It feels uncomfortable seeing little kids engage in passionate advocacy for things they have no real experience with, and this video gives similar vibes.
Top talent meets top talent.
Strong disagree on all points.
Blaming Ukraine for getting invaded is insane and the idea that we can’t outspend and outlast Russia is pretty suspect too.
Thanks! I was trying to figure out what kind of fan fiction started with S haha.
I wonder about causation from a different angle. I only drink decaf and don’t do any caffeine specifically because I know I’m at a higher risk for heart disease and caffeine has triggered cardiac episodes for me before.
An interesting thought that makes me ask a few questions.
How much of that dwarf planet would be in scope to return? I guess my completely ignorant suspicion is that it would be a small volume of highly valuable minerals, or minerals destined for space anyway.
Also, what about the mass we are moving off world today? Have all of our satellites and rockets and other space bound craft resulted in any measurable change to earths place in the solar system? I would imagine some leave only temporarily, but how much mass do we permanently shed?
This feels interesting for the same reasons scorigami was an interesting thing. There are many ways to get a final score of 21-18, and I really wonder if this is a first.
Honestly this is where my headspace is at. I see all the memes and jokes and they just make me sadder.
Well my first recommendation was going to be Ancillary Justice, but there’s also Artemis by Andy Weir! It’s been a minute since I’ve read it but I don’t immediately recall it snacking of a “men writing women” feel.
Edit: Not super SciFi, but like steampunk fantasy maybe… Another option might be Mistborn by Brandon Sanderson.
Second Edit: Whatever you do DONT read Hyperion. Oof that one was one of the most ridiculous examples of “men writing women” I have read, although he notably grew as the series progressed.
Hey it sounds like you work with some good people :)
Man I’m sure there is some culture I could have been raised in that would have resulted in me finding that appealing and all…. But I would probably vomit if I drank any of that.
I’m doing my part!
It’s actually got traction in industry where we were already exploring AR for things like using 3d models to enhance maintenance on large facility equipment.
Compared to the value prop of increased reliability and enhanced frontline accessibility of consumable model data its cost is not a barrier and its quality is a MASSIVE step up from the equipment we had.
I’ve heard about it being used in high cost per unit sales experiences too, like jets or whatnot, it haven’t seen that directly.
My “office” is a network of interconnected multi-story buildings. It’s actually really convenient for me to know if I need to go meet someone in person or just use video.
Sometimes we have a room booked ahead of time and I learn they are wfh when I get to the empty room.
