Sadly cannot recommend it to any non tech savvy people on Mac because LibreWolf team refuses to have the app signed. This won’t help adoption rates.
Right now I can only, reluctantly, recommend Brave and maybe in the future Zen when it becomes more stable/settled.

Almost “Username checks out” :)
The main reason I mentioned him is the Children of Time series, it revolves around non-humanoid “aliens” a lot. Fantastic series, but I love almost any of his SciFi stories.

A shitty narrator can get me to hate a book I like.
And that is where I see potential for AI. There are quite a few books which I’d love to listen to but they are all narrated by a guy whose narration I can’t stand. AI would open the possibility to choose a voice and I might actually get to enjoy those books. It’s Amazon though so the ethical implications and quality concerns are something I’m worried about.

Arm wave 2: Dab
I can think of another 3 letter word, and it rhymes, that would make this even sadder.
Did you skip Capitalism 101?
where people can only extend empathy as far as a situation that it’s possible for them to get into.
I wonder if there is a distinguishing term for this.
Empathy = The ability to put yourself in someone else’s shoes (no matter how different they are from you)
? = The “ability” to imagine yourself in a situation that someone else, who’s very similar to you, experienced.
Any musical episode ever.
Is the computer/robot able to freely decide when/if to speak?
No = you should direct your attention to your fellow “divine” beings who programmed them
Yes = fuck you
Yeah, people become fascists by demagogues tricking them into thinking that their REAL problems can be solved using fascistic means.
People become zombies by demagogues biting them.
Are demagogues not zombies? Otherwise it’s kind of a circular argument.
You can’t make people fascist without lying to them, but lies of that magnitude need critical real world problems to gain traction.
That’s just wrong. You can if you believe what you are saying is true. I’d say it’s even more likely that you will be successful in spreading ideas if you believe them to be true.
I could say you lie to people because you demonize fascists. But you believe it’s true. I believe fascism is a symptom and if we really want to get rid of it we need to look at and fix the root causes.
Feeling like a fish out of water sounds much darker now.
