I can’t remember who said this, but somebody said the version of the Turing Test as we all remember it is ridiculous: It’s basically saying that the test of intelligence is “Can a chatbot fool one idiot?”

On really long races with a backpack, my HRM strap has often got nudged down so it’s practically round my abdomen, and it still worked fine. Why don’t you give it a go much lower and see what happens? That might help settle the breast question?
We did curation of existing knowledge for years, in the form of textbooks and reference works. This is just people thinking they can get the same benefits without the expense, and it’ll come crashing down soon enough when people see that you need to handle concepts, not just surface words with a superficial autocomplete
I think Greenland is part of Denmark, which is a member state
She normalised her numbers based on the number of followers she had on each platforms, so should have adjusted for this
You are not okay to drive after two booze rounds
A lot of people aren’t into this. A lot. They just stay quiet because they’ve been told they’re wrong to not be into it. You’re not alone here. Just do what makes you happy and wait it out. That’s what I’m doing
The nuance is that exercise that’s baked into people’s everyday routines gets done, and so extends healthy life. Exercise that requires extra time and effort gets done a lot less. This is why everyday physical activity through moving around is so important
This ticket is odd by UK standards, and the arrangement you describe isn’t the norm. These seat reservation tickets normally specify a particular seat
Welcome! Don’t forget to wipe your feet in the way in
I believe the claim was that the vibrations of the turbines cause problems for the whales
They absolutely do not support this in any meaningful way. Try telling them they have to get rid of their car and stop flying, and that in the meantime gas prices will shoot upwards, and then let’s see how much they actually support this. They just said they supported it in a poll either because they thought that’s what they were meant to say, or because they didn’t understand the implications of what they were agreeing to
Contrary to what somebody else has said here, this IS potentially extremely useful as it paves the way for real-time aerodynamic calculations when paired with power data. mywindsock is the go-to resource for this, but briefly, with wind data your head unit could quite easily calculate real-time CDA, and as a result pretty much make the advantages of wind tunnel testing available to all of us - plus give instant feedback mid-ride on how well we’re holding a good aero position.
In short, this device could be a game-changer and I suspect every pro will have one almost immediately
Just to be clear, this is capitulation to a car industry that failed to modernise fast enough and now is crying out for protection from Chinese competition while they belatedly get on with some R&D
If you read the paper, they’re building on existing work that shows night-time light affects the metabolism
Just waiting for all the people to come and tell us to use Mastodon so that the people of Mastodon can shout at us for Mastodonning wrong
Sorry, but no
If they really cared about children and the most vulnerable they’d be taking much firmer action about car pollution, especially near schools and hospitals
Thanks!
A midsized college football stadium might hold about 70,000 people. Imagine going onto the loudspeaker and announcing “Seven hundred and fifty-three of the people here today are going to die in a car crash. Enjoy the game”
