Specific books I can remember: Eleanor Oliphant is completely fine. Daisy Jones and the Six. Tomorrow, tomorrow and tomorrow.
Generally, graphic novels and spicy novels help as a brain cleanser. Chick lit. Or a plotline that resonates and absolutely lovable characters.
I am so glad I live in a safe Labour seat so I can feel comfortable not voting for them next GE. Because they feel just like a version of the Tories from my voting lifetime (and I’m not super old) right now.
Ultimately with humans it’s really time consuming to enact behavioural change. The rate of human behaviour change is slower than the rate of destruction of the planet (also individual human change is going to do diddly squat when McDonald’s keeps McDonald’sing and the Kardashians keep travelling in their private jets)
