Both lol. In elementary school I got very good grades and teachers really liked me. Except the ones that minded that I was constantly writing stories and drawing during lessons.

I got scolded often for not paying attention (who cares, I’m getting good grades, let me do my thing!!!) and some teachers would even confiscate my writings and drawings to keep me from being distracted.

One teacher especially didn’t like that I could not pay attention in class and still get good grades. She took away a story I had been working on for a while and never gave it back. I still get mad when I think about it.

I highly recommend Storytel, especially if you want books in Spanish or Catalan I find they have a really good selection but their selection in English is good too. And their subscription is competitively priced.

Also I got an Inkbook ereader a couple weeks ago and I’ve been happy with it so far. It came with the Storytel app and I sideloaded my local library app (the Finnish one which is buggy as hell, but at least has a good selection ^^')

I ordered their Solaris model and I should get it by the end of next week. I have a Storytel subscription and Finland, where I live, has a library app where you can loan ebooks as well, so I am very excited about being able to access them from my ereader.

It’s good to hear you’ve been liking yours as it was very hard to find reviews, but I really wanted to support an EU company and ended up going for it anyway!

I read a really good book at the end of last year and it kind of put me in a reading slump. I had to let it sit for a moment and then I kind of didn’t feel like reading anything else for a while.

This happens rarely to me but I’ve actually come to appreciate it when it does. I am trying to get into a “quality over quantity” mindset after a few years of just reading as much as I possibly could.

I feel like we should give books more time to “breathe” in general after we finish reading instead of always jumping into the next one straight away!
