In all seriousness though, the cleaner just smelt like the ice tea tasted. The day I first used the cleaner I actually had Lipton Lemon on my way to work and was caught a bit off guard by the smell.

Edit: FuzeTea definitely tastes like the soap bubbles though. The specific brand even, not just any. Source: I was a child once.

Dunno about cilantro but Lipton Ice Tea Lemon (at least here in Germany) tastes like the highly toxic cleaner we used to clean printer stereotypes when I was jobbing at a paper cup manufacturer.

And FuzeTea Lemon tastes like Pustefix soap bubbles.

Yea, a used PS5 disc edition here is like 400€ vs 500€ new. It’s not a huge difference but it’s noticeable. For 400€ you probably won’t get a decent gaming PC, let alone one that can match a PS5.

And what you’re saying is fair, if you start from scratch. 500€ PC + 500€ Console might as well be a 1000€ PC. However, if you already have a 10 year old PC (like GTX 970 class or similar), upgrading that to current gen spec isn’t gonna work but it’s still fine for a lot of older and less demanding games and for day to day stuff anyways. Makes replacing it a much harder sell, since you’ll be lucky to get 200€ back if you sold the old machine.

Not saying that this makes sense for everyone. I myself would rather scavenge used part deals on the web but that’s not viable for people without the technical knowledge.

If you don’t play online and have the patience to wait until you can get games used or deals, consoles can still be worth it.

I’m a PC gamer but the only games that I play online are in the realm of Minecraft, FallGuys, Raft or Stardew Valley which would run on almost any machine. I also don’t really play shooters or strategy games so there’s basically nothing I‘d need a mouse n keyboard for either.

I have even thought about just getting a PS or XBOX but I ended up upgrading my PC a little to near PS5 performance with a used cheap 5700xt for a little more than half the price of a new PS5. But if you can’t do that and would have to build sth from scratch, keeping your old PC and getting a console might be worth it. Even more so, now that you can get good deals on used current gen consoles.

Yea, for general computing a lot of older PCs are very manageable. I have an old 2008 unibody MacBook laying around that I had to use for a little while a few months ago and it was perfectly usable on mint. Even felt a lot better than a lot of newer machines since apple built them like tanks and their trackpads back then were so ahead of their time they easily beat out a lot of brand new machines.

I have a lot of queer friends (being pansexual myself) and I love the general awareness of mental health at least within my social circle (mainly well educated people throughout their 20s). For example it’s incredibly refreshing not to have to make excuses if you don’t feel like being around people that day, instead just being able to say just that without judgement.

They‘re everywhere and while the quality isn’t great, it’s a known quantity. McDonalds is never amazing but it’s very rarely terrible. A random hole in the wall is always unpredictable and a proper restaurant usually much slower and more expensive. Also, I’m weak for the Big Tasty sauce.

Well, no one‘s saying Spotifys implementation is any good. But the theory that true randomness doesn’t always feel random still stands true. Most music player/streaming apps implement this in some way. Some better, some worse.

The non three dot ellipse gets worse on some devices that replace the “…” (three individual dots) with ‘…’ (one symbol with three dots that have slightly different spacing to the three individual dots). “…” looks wrong but it’s worlds better than “….”.

Most phone cameras also have a much wider focal length than our eyes though, which makes faces look a bit skinnier. I definitely look better in wide angle than in reality or telephoto.

And it’s voice based navigation is way ahead of Google’s. I mean, both get you there, sure. But no google, I don’t need to know I’m taking a turn on ST257315, when the road doesn’t even have a name sign. Telling me to turn right towards XY at the stop sign (as apple does) makes wayyy more sense.
