    Glass. Meh just heated sand.

Wish it was that simple, but glass & construction-grade silica sand are actually becoming somewhat scarce and facing shortages. The composition, purity, and grain size make some sand vastly more desirable than other sand. There’s already commercial operations grinding down quartz slabs, because thats easier than trying to sieve and process out all the non-quartz grains.

And sand-dredging operations arent any less damaging to the enviroment than other strip mining methods even where there are good deposits. Glass recycling is good.

  • Cruise spokesperson Tiffany Testo countered that one of the cars cleared the scene and that traffic to the right of it remained unblocked.

Hell yeah, lemme swing my lights & sirens into the non-passing lane, confusing every other driver on the road about what im doing or where im going. I love pulling fast lane changes to get around someone, only to have the next 4 cars ahead of me brake left, right, & center because now IM the one ignoring traffic norms. My service expressly forbids passing on the right except for absolute necessity, because not only is that in violation of state DOT guidelines, but because the majority of ambulance accidents are side-swipe impacts from trying to steer around people blocking lanes.

People already freak the fuck out when they see lights in their rear-view, thanks for letting me know your autonomous product will not improve and has joined every other car-brained dipshit in ignoring traffic.

  • That sounds about right. No decay in the traditional sense, hard vacuum in unfiltered sunlight is going to be a pretty great sterilization method. You’ll offgas almost all of your water over time, so you’ll be a spooky mummy at least.

Over time the raw power of the sun and random cosmic ray will “decay” you via splitting apart your component molecules, but i dont know if thats enough to truely poof you away or just make you a very bleached mummy.
